01What this service covers
On-farm pregnancy assessment by transrectal palpation or ultrasound as appropriate. Findings can help identify open females and, when timing and conditions permit, estimate stage of pregnancy to support grouping, feeding and calving decisions.
02When to contact us
Plan pregnancy checking after the breeding season when the result can still influence culling, marketing, winter feed use or calving groups. Call earlier if returns to estrus or bull problems suggest breeding failure.
03What to expect
We confirm breeding dates and management goals, assess females through appropriate restraint and record results in a useful format. Pregnancy diagnosis is a point-in-time finding; later pregnancy loss remains possible.
