Service overview

Start with the question.
Build the right next step.

Every farm, animal and situation is different. These sections provide a useful starting point; the veterinarian will tailor recommendations to the case in front of us.

01What this service covers

A flock- or herd-specific approach to internal parasites using clinical risk, fecal egg counts when appropriate, treatment history, pasture use and evidence of drug effectiveness. The goal is targeted control while slowing anthelmintic resistance.

02When to contact us

Call for pale eyelids, bottle jaw, diarrhea, weight loss, poor growth, weakness or unexpected deaths. Review the program when treatments seem less effective, dosing is frequent, new animals arrive or pasture management changes.

03What to expect

We review animals, grazing, previous products and dosing practices, then select useful sampling and interpretation. Recommendations may include targeted treatment, accurate weight-based dosing, post-treatment checks, quarantine procedures and grazing or nutrition changes; routine blanket deworming is not always the best approach.
