01What this service covers
On-farm breeding management for mares using cooled semen, including reproductive assessment, ultrasound monitoring, cycle and ovulation timing, coordination with the semen source, insemination and pregnancy examinations.
02When to contact us
Contact us before the intended cycle—ideally before semen is ordered—to review the mare’s history and shipping arrangements. Earlier evaluation is important for older mares, barren mares, previous breeding difficulty, fluid after breeding or irregular cycles.
03What to expect
The program requires timely communication and often several examinations because follicle development and ovulation vary. We coordinate examination and insemination around the mare and shipment, then plan pregnancy checks; conception cannot be guaranteed in any cycle.
